This Kellogg's logo is copied from the advertisement in our 1957 yearbook, the Paean, from those good old days when you could still tour the plant and follow the process - see how the cereal was actually cooked, rolled, and packaged!  And, each person who participated in the tour was given a Kellogg's Variety Pack to take home.  Remember?

It's hard to recognize the Kellogg's plant at all, anymore.  Remember how that huge building was right along the edge of Porter Street?  Well, the following pictures tell the entire story!
This 1st picture was taken from Porter Street, facing downtown, from the back side of the South Plant, just as demolition was getting under way.  The arrow points to the little bit of the administration building seen through the wreckage, beyond where the wrecking balls are working.

This is pretty much the same view (hard to find your bearings around there these days), with the arrow again pointing at the Administration Building.

The once familiar view of Kellogg's, just off Michigan Avenue, on Porter Street.  One of the wrecking ball cranes can be seen just to the right of the big elm tree, chipping away at the back of the buildings.

Ta-da!  There's the elm tree!
