Dear Class of '57 Reunion Committee:

Our class reunion in July was by far one of the best ones we've ever had.  I know the hours of dedication and effort you put into pulling off such a fabulous weekend.  It's difficult to give you enough

thanks and praise, and we hope you know how much everyone appreciates this special weekend.

Ross and I enjoyed every moment and had so many laughs and such fun.  There are so many wonderful memories from our high school days and we're both firm believers there isn't anything better than being reared and educated in the Midwest.  We're proud we graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with such wonderful friends.

Again, many thanks for such a remarkable time!  Best regards,

Carol Lyman Morrison

Committee Members,

A giant thank you for all the work you put into making our reunion the success that it was.  I was pleased that so many who hadn't come to previous reunions were able to come to this one.  I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the fiftieth. (unsigned)

I traveled all the way from California to Battle Creek for the reunion and it was worth every minute:  My schedule was full from Friday morning to Sunday night.

The best was just talking to everybody and the high school tour on Saturday

was a real eye opener.

Thank you to all that put this together.   Don Zinn

Thank you so much for all your patience, pep and just plain hard work.

The reunion weekend - all of it - was just perfect!  Carol Holcomb Sigourney

Thank you all for providing a great first reunion for me. I am so happy that I came.  The plans were great to every detail and the food "outstanding". I was expecting "rubber chicken surprise". Getting to meet you all again as adults was great.  We did grow up in a very special time and became very special people. Our values, commitments, and outlooks have made wonderful human beings of us. Tho we have all aged, as I looked at you I saw only the face of the fellow classmate that I held in my heart all these years. I look forward to seeing more of you at the 50th.  Please come. It will be an experience you will never forget. God bless you and keep you in his care.        June Wilferd Christiansen

We were traveling the last eight days and just returned and the reunion booklet was in our mail box.  I have had a chance to look over the book and was very impressed.  It is wonderful to get up-to-date on all my classmates from 1957.  I am going to try to email some of them.

I was also interested to read about the "Girls Nite Out" dinners each month.  I sure wish I lived closer so that I could attend.  Maybe one of these times when my husband and I visit his mother in Battle Creek, we can plan it around one of the dinners.  Would you keep me informed of the dates and places

so that hopefully I can attend.
Thank you and the committee again for the web site, reunion book and all of your hard work during the reunion.      Betty Masters Heath

This was my first reunion, and I am already looking forward to the next.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the high school and the opportunity it presented for me to meet the principal and talk to him briefly about the school scholarship program, which I am looking forward to becoming a sponsor.  The dinner dance was more than I expected.  I didn't think I would remember anyone and felt no one would recognize me.  Wow, was I ever surprised!
I remembered so many classmates - Lola Throop, Nancy Vogler, Doris Molie, Susan Rosenbaum, Pat Fox, Molly Jo House, Mary Jo Pshea, Fred Gordan, Furman and Phyllis Robinson, and of course the highlight of the evening was
seeing you and my old neighbor and friend, Barbara Slout.  We had such a
good time talking and hugging each other - it was truly one of those
"significant emotional events".
Frida, I could go on and on, but I just wanted to let you know what a
fantastic time I had.  Thank you, thank you.
Love Ya!
Pat (Grant) Howard

PS:  The class reunion booklet is beyond words - interesting and informative updates on everyone.  Everything about the reunion was so well organized, planned, and executed - what an outstanding accomplishment!!

Another great reunion!  Probably the best one yet.  Will be hard to top for the 50th, but I know it will be done.  Really enjoyed the Friday night event.  Got to see some friends that I hadn't seen in more than 45 years.  Got to see some friends that I haven't seen in five years or more.  Same with the Saturday night event.  The Four Lads were great.  Whoever came up with the idea should be signed up to get the next entertainment too.  The committee did a first rate job.

Thanks to all who signed the sympathy card regarding my fathers passing.

It's nice to know there are so many who care.

I'm looking forward to using this website more.  It is very nice to have available for reaching those who we might not otherwise be in contact.  Dave Stebleton

My reunion book arrived yesterday.  Thank you.  What a great job you folks did on that book.  It must have taken a lot of work but believe me, the work is very, very much appreciated.  Seeing what everyone looks like today made me realize that I wouldn't recognize ANYONE without that book.  Thank you.  Judie Garman Stuit

You guys outdid yourselves!  Seen a lot of things done by a lot of people over a lot of years, and your handling of the reunion activities was top notch from beginning to end.  We are all indebted to you, and particularly privileged to have our class officers fulfill their lifelong responsibilities so admirably--and so ably assisted by others.  Many thanks to all for a job exceedingly well done.  On Ye Bearcats! Fred Gorden

--THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.  Cannot lay booklet down without picking it back up seconds later.  Know I would have enjoyed being there, but booklet (yearbook) is next best thing.  Thanks again, hoping all is well with you & yours.  God bless- Leola (Lee)

I CAN'T THANK YOU AND THE COMMITTEE ENOUGH FOR THE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL JOB YOU ALL DID FOR THIS REUNION. SO MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVEN'T BEEN TOGETHER FOR MANY,

MANY YEARS WERE BROUGHT TOGETHER.  WHAT THAT MEANT PROBABLY VARIED BETWEEN FRIENDS BUT FOR ME AND MY CLOSE FRIENDS IT WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST THING THAT'S HAPPENED TO US FOR A LONG, LONG TIME.  SOMETHING ABOUT BEING WITH PEOPLE YOU KNOW SO VERY WELL.....JUST SOMEHOW MAKES YOU FEEL YOUNG AGAIN AND MANY PRECIOUS MEMORIES JUST FLOOD YOUR MIND AND SOUL AND YOU ARE 17 OR 18 AGAIN...AND EVERYTHING IS WONDERFUL!  JUDY

I had a great time renewing old friendships.  On Thursday evening a group of us went out to dinner and because it was a fairly small group of about 15 or 20, we were able to really visit with one another.  That was a great night.  What fun it was to see everyone...a little different on the outside...but still the same on the inside.

I'll keep in touch via email, phones, snail mail and visits with several old friends and I'll make sure I stay "connected" to the '57 classmates website.  Thanks,  Bev Rose Nicola

It was a very lovely evening and you all did a great job.  We both had a good time visiting with others at our table - that we didn't know when we sat down.  Hazel (Bundy) & Bill Bowers

What a grand experience. We have been really blessed with many great friends and classmates. The reunion will live on in our hearts! It is the reunion committee that made it all possible.  They really did a FANTASTIC JOB!!!

Just think, God even sent a light show for us to enjoy over the lake for at least 45 minutes!    Wow!!!    If you weren't there....you really missed something and we REALLY MISSED YOU ALSO!   See you in five years...  Judy Briggs Lohse

I had a GREAT time Thurs. night at dinner. Also had a GREAT time on Friday night at the party and saw many people. The committee did a great job planning the entire reunion weekend.   The school tour was really nice to see and quite a few were there also. The book was also very good.   I have not had time to read thru it all yet, but I will.  See you at the Aug. dinner.  LuAlice Smith Clayman

Received our reunion book in the mail today, WOW  it is just packed with goodies. It is worth much more than what the cost was.   I got an E mail from Judy Briggs just to say HI and have paid many visits to the web sight to see what is new.   We had a very successful class.

Thank you all so much for all the hard work the committee has done.  Supper will be late tonight as I have spent so much time reading through the book.   Stay in
touch.   Martha Krohn Whitmire
