From 1994 thru 1999, Herb & Darlene have spent six weeks each winter
touring the islands and waters of Hawaii, following the whales, scuba diving, snorkeling, etc.
They have recently been spending their winter vacations touring Florida
and cruising the Caribbean Islands.
The photo at right was taken on a sand bar two miles out from an island
in the Grand Caymans, where the sting rays are friendly enough to pet, as you can see!
Swimming with the sting rays - unbelieveable! Herb took the remaining
pictures of sting rays with an under water camera - his favorite sport.
A one-month visit to Florida in January '07 lasted, well, until
April 20th - they have now officially joined the snowbird crowd in Largo!
