Molly Jo House Bonner

Molly Jo House Bonner is well known for her realistic depictions of birds and nature themes in watercolor originals and limited edition prints.  To date, she has published ten prints.
 
In addition to many awards including Best of Show, one of her paintings, entitled 'Wonder in the Weeds' showing American Goldfinches in their natural habitat, was included in the 1991 calendar presented by the Michigan United Conservation Clubs.

'Eating Out' - A 16" x 20" Limited Edition Print

As one of only ten Michigan artists selected to provide artwork for the Atlas of Michigan Breeding Birds, she has 23 illustrations included in the book which was published in December, 1991.
 
Ms. Bonner was also selected by The Artist Magazine as one of 117 of "the finest wildlife artists of 1990 selected from over 5,000 entries from all over the world" in the magazine's annual International Wildlife Competition.
 
When not on location painting, home to the artist is Windfall Studio in Rives Junction  MI, just north of Jackson.

Molly Jo works on commissions, teaches watercolor and drawing classes, does lecture/ demonstrations and workshops and studies painting and printmaking with nationally known artists.  She also exhibits her work at many wildlife art shows throughout the midwest and is active in environmental and conservation organizations.
