You will all remember Sullivan Milk Products and the Sullivan Ice Cream store ???
 
The ice cream store is long gone, but Schweitzer Construction Co. Inc. in Battle Creek purchased the old Sullivan Barn located on the river, just off the corner of Jackson Street and Washington Ave.  The building is now on both the State and National Register of Historic Places and is in its own Battle Creek Renaissance Zone.
 

Look what Schweitzer Const. (yes, our Pete's brothers) and Architechs Inc. have accomplished
with this beautiful old barn.
 
Judging by the truck, this would be in the 40's???

The original of this newspaper ad copy hangs
inside and many of the antique furnishings
were acquired in Marshall.
This photo was taken of the new
Sullivan Dairy truck fleet (36 trucks & drivers)
at the time that Sullivan's delivered milk to the
old Kellogg Sanitarium which used to stand
just a few blocks up the hill on Washington St.
